Beach House sleeps 10-12
Where sea and surf meet rest and recreation
High on the heather banks above Porthtowan sits Beach House, offering a green light for blue-flag surfing. Imagine a Cornish seaside village and this is it. Porthtowan is where coves meet dunes, where boards meet surf, and where relaxation and recreation come together in perfect harmony.
Just a seaspray from the sands, Beach House is a modern, chalet-style home for 10( plus two) with eyes that scan the waves. Clink glasses on the patio as the Atlantic rollers crash in. And if the clouds open or the air chills, the view's just as fine from beside the woodburner.
This is seaside living in luxury. The kitchen, with SMEG fridge-freezer, comes hand-built in Cornish ash by a local carpenter. The dining table is by Benchmark, with Kartell Ghost chairs. The TV comes with Sky HD surround-sound projection. And the views from the five bedrooms are heaven-sent.
Outside, the Weber BBQ overlooks the sands, and the terraced lawns and summerhouse look out on the rocks and rollers below. After the sun, sand and surf, enjoy a hot and cold outdoor shower, then wander down to the Blue Bar for a sunset barbeque.
