Reception Rooms

The Lindens has a suite of fantastic reception rooms for you to relax and entertain in.  As you walk in the scale and luxury of the house takes your breath away but once you are settled in it feels just like home, with room for everyone to find their own special space.

The entrance hall is a large, light space with parquet flooring, which runs through into the inner halls of the house.  The Drawing Room, just off the hall, is an enormous room with wooden flooring and three huge windows looking out over the South facing lawn.  Modern Italian leather sofas complement the high ceilings, enabling you to enjoy the views onto the garden, the open fire or the huge 50" plasma TV.  Bookshelves are well stocked with books, games and dvds for all ages.

Just off the Drawing Room is the Garden Room, a lovely room with French windows opening onto the garden - perfect for relaxing, reading the paper and enjoying a quiet cup of tea.  Next to this is the Dining Room - a large room with parquet flooring and a stylish oak table with room for everyone to dine together.

Just across from the Dining Room is the luxurious Kitchen.  There is a natural stone floor, complete with under floor heating, fully equipped kitchen area, island for chopping or chatting, an AGA and a large range cooker.   The Breakfast Area has is a light, triple aspect space with an oak table seating 10 comfortably, and a comfy sofa overlooking the garden.  From the Kitchen and Breakfast Area you can step out onto a big terrace with a barbecue and plenty of garden furniture so that everyone can enjoy al-fresco dining, or stroll out onto the lawn.  Just round the corner is the South-facing pool terrace, and a short way up a path is the games room and play area - and the rest of the 4 acre garden.

Opening off the kitchen and an inner hall is the Family Room, a big, comfortable room with bags of toys, a dolls house and its own TV with full Sky package and plenty of dvds - just right for socialising, reading or just relaxing.  Perfect for letting the children play while you cook or relax after a meal.

There is also a Utility Room, just down the corridor from the Kitchen, with a large larder fridge, second dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.  And there are two downstairs WCs.
