The value for a party of 12 staying here? Huge.Heiton Mill House sleeps 10-12 in 5 spacious and well-appointed bedrooms, all ensuite with space for two guests in a sleeping area on the landing. Ranged over the first and second floors of a huge stone Mill, set dramatically next to a rushing river. Wooden floors, modern, luxurious furnishings and big spaces throughout create relaxing spaces full of surprises as new rooms and vistas open up.
Steps lead up to the large entrance hall, with a boot room for coats, boots and bits and bobs. From here the Mill opens up into the huge living/dining space, with huge windows looking out onto the river. There is a cosy dining area for 12 around a big oak table, and a huge lounge area full of squishy sofas and armchairs. There is an extensive library and a flat screen TV with Freeview.
Just off the dining area is the large farmhouse style kitchen. There's a big island for chopping and chatting around, and a smart, well equipped kitchen with a huge pantry.
Wooden stairs lead from the hall up to the First Floor, and four of the five ensuite bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has comfortable, stylish zip and link beds, which can be set up as kingsize or twin beds. Wooden floors throughout make all the bedrooms calm and relaxing, with wonderful views over the river and the surrounding countryside. Each bedroom has a luxurious ensuite bathroom, equipped to boutique hotel standards. A huge landing gives access to the bedrooms and provides a quiet seating area in a large alcove, which can be converted to provide two additional beds if needed.
The fifth ensuite bedroom is downstairs, just off the hall, and is equally well-appointed.
There is a downstairs WC and a large utility room. Outside there is a games barn with table tennis and other games, a large gravel parking area, and grounds leading down to the river.
