The Barns
Hillisde Barns offers the most amazing setting for a get together, with wonderful views, characterful barns and luxurious interiors.
The Milking Parlour is the largest of the barns, with six ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to 16, and lots of space for everyone to relax and dine together. The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is extremely spacious with panoramic views over the Axe Valley out to the Jurassic coastline. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for big groups with two ovens and a large American fridge freezer, The dining table seats 16, and the lounge is very relaxing, with large easy sofas and a LCD flat screen TV and iPod docking station. All bedroom suites have LCD TV’s, plenty of storage, and all bed combinations can be altered to suit
On the ground floor of the stable block dating back to 1750, The Stables has been modernised to accommodate up to 6 people in two bedrooms. The under floor heating provides the accommodation with all the heating needed in the colder months whilst the porcelain floor tiles ensure the rooms are cool on those wonderful summer days in Devon. The living area is open plan with enough room to comfortably accommodate a group of 6. The Stables living area is equipped with a large LCD TV and iPod docking station and complimentary WiFi access.
The Hayloft is a beautiful barn loft conversion with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 guests. The Hayloft is on the upper level of a barn and is accessed by steps. Created with ecologically friendly materials, this barn has a uniquely modern feel whilst retaining many features of the original building. The vaulted ceilings make the accommodation in The Hayloft a firm favourite with guests. The air source heating and natural spring water supply add to the property's First rate ecological credentials.
The Saddlery is a one bedroom suite - accessed by steps: the most perfect romantic hideaway, a firm favourite with our returning couples. Its vaulted ceilings make the accommodation feel exceptionally spacious.
The Tack Room is a further one bedroom suite on the ground floor of the Barns, with characterful stone walls complimented by modern facitlities.
For guests requiring a little more accommodation there are also two Rustic Rooms available, adding up to a fantastic package for a large group.
